LACROSSEMARK LEVEL 3 SUCCESS FOR THE BLUES
We are very pleased to announce that the English Lacrosse Association have now awarded Walcountian Blues Lacrosse Club Lacrossemark Level 3. We are only the fourth club in the UK to achieve this level and the first in the South of England. As the criteria is higher than for Sport England's Clubmark, this demonstrates that our Club has the minimum standards for Clubmark and exceeds them in many key areas. Particularly we have demonstrated that we:
- Have good policy and practice in the area of Child Protection, including CRB checks for all coaches working with young people.
- Are truly 'A Club for All', offering an opportunity for everyone to enjoy lacrosse in an equitable and safe environment.
- Have a structure for the development of our players using coaches qualified to ELA minimum standards.
- Have a clear governance & organisational structure and have laid out a plan for our long term development as a club.
